Over the past several decades, children in the Philippines have been affected by an alarming number of intense typhoons. These storms often cause significant damage to infrastructure and buildings and can lead to loss of life and displacement for families. In addition, these powerful storms often leave children struggling with a range of emotional and psychological issues, including trauma and depression. What makes typhoons even more dangerous for children is that they are often unprepared for these situations, both physically and emotionally. Many lack access to shelters or safe spaces during storm season, which puts them at risk of injury or even death from falling debris or floods. Furthermore, children may feel powerless as they witness the devastation caused by these destructive storms, leaving them feeling anxious and panicked. As someone who has spent many years working as a health professional, I was deeply affected by the recent typhoon that devastated my community in Palawan, Philippines. Not only were many people displaced and left without shelter or basic necessities like food and clothing, but there were also countless children who suffered tremendously as a result of the disaster. With this in mind, I decided to take matters into my own hands and launch a crowdfunding campaign with PartnersInWealth to support these children in their time of need. By collecting donations from people all over the world, we will be able to provide young victims of this storm with clothing, food, and other necessities that are essential for restoring their sense of normalcy during this traumatic time. Purpose

With this funding, I will create a facility that will provide homeless children with the resources they need in order to thrive. This will include a secure overnight shelter where they can get a good night's sleep; nutritious meals so that they stay healthy; an educational base where they can engage with educational opportunities and receive tutoring if needed; and access to other vital services such as healthcare and counseling. I believe that every child deserves the chance to succeed in life, no matter their circumstances, and my goal is not just to help them survive but also to grow into strong and resilient individuals. Reason
